MGC Solutions was engaged by Midland Junction Alliance (MJA) to deliver early works as part of the ongoing Metronet Program for Midland Station Upgrade. Works delivered with the local inhouse team were:

• Long lead material assessment and procurement
• Off site manufacture of signalling frames and locations
• Factory acceptance testing
• Points machine installation, factory acceptance testing, field testing and commissioning
• Civil installation and structural installation of wayside signalling infrastructure
• Cable installation, termination and testing
• Signalling, set to work, test and commission
• Signalling entry into service
• Optic fibre cable installation
• Optic fibre splicing testing and cutover of critical services
